Study: Ginger Is 10,000x More Effective At Killing Cancer Than Chemo (it won’t destroy healthy cells!)

Ginger is a food and medicine both – for centuries, the root has been used in meals and as a natural remedy against numerous diseases and conditions. Ginger is native to Asia where it has been cultivated for its culinary and medicinal properties. The root can be found in all parts of the world now, and is constantly being used as a remedy for many ailments. The root can treat simple infections such as the common cold and flu, but new studies suggest that it can also destroy cancer cells even better than chemotherapy.

According to a study from Georgia State University, ginger can inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induces apoptosis in them, while leaving the healthy cells untouched. The study showed that the root has no adverse side-effects unlike chemotherapy which may kill a cancer patient.

“Whatever manipulations we’re doing to tumors can inadvertently do something to increase the tumor numbers to become more metastatic, which is what kills patients at the end of the day,” said Dr. Raghu Kalluri, leader of another study at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Scientists from Georgia State discovered that ginger extract can reduce tumors in mice by 56%, while also boosting their antioxidant levels and reducing inflammation throughout their body.

Besides this study, there are 17 other studies that showcase ginger’s powerful anticancer properties. The plant has also been a subject of many peer-reviewed studies that confirm its medicinal properties.

In order to protect yourself from several life-threatening diseases and conditions, we suggest consuming ginger every day. You can eat the root raw, add it to salads, or make a nice healthy cup of ginger tea. Ginger supplements are also available, so there’s really no shortage of options, and no reason why you shouldn’t add ginger to your diet.
