7 Powerful Home Remedies For Pneumonia

Pneumonia is a respiratory condition characterized by inflammation of the lungs caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or chemical irritants. 1.Holy basil leaves

Holy basil leaves are beneficial for your lungs and useful in the natural treatment of pneumonia. Simply chew on a couple of holy basil leaves and swallow them. It will help a lot to relieve a cough and the flu.

2.Garlic
Garlic has antimicrobial properties that fight off bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It also helps bring down the body temperature and increases expectoration to clear phlegm out of the chest and lungs.
You should mix 1 cup of milk in 4 cups of water and add one-half teaspoon of crushed garlic to it. Boil the solution until it reduces to one-fourth of the original amount. Drink it three times a day.

You should mix one-half teaspoon of turmeric and one-quarter teaspoon of black pepper powder in a glass of warm water. Drink it once a day.

6.Oregano oil
Oil of oregano combats pneumonia-causing germs due to its antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It also helps thin mucus and clear congestion.
Add two or three drops of oregano oil to a glass of water or fresh juice. Drink it three times daily. Also, you can pour some oil into a piece of clean cloth and breathe in it whenever you feel stuffed.
